The strictly manual harvest is carried out towards the end of September, followed by fermentation and maceration in steel barrels at a temperature of 25-28 ° for a minimum of 25-28 days. The drawing off then takes place and the temperature is lowered to 18-20 ° to allow the malolactic fermentation. The refinement is done in 225 litre barriques. and 500 lt tonneaux of French oak. After 24 months the wine is bottled and then refined in the bottle for a further 12 months before being released on the market.
Intense ruby colour, almost impenetrable, with slight garnet hues. The nose has an intense and complex bouquet, characterized by red berry fruit, sweet violet and exotic spices on a background of undergrowth and precious wood. In the mouth it is enveloping, with great structure and elegance, the tannins make it extremely suitable even for very long aging.
2016 was rated with 4 stars. It gives wines a classic character with very intense colors, characterized by a very high average quality that will have their main prerogative in elegance and finesse.
